I have curated an audience of UX professionals as a leading voice in Product Design. As a result, I have a thriving LinkedIn following, and I am viewed as a UX industry and product design leader.
I eat, sleep, and breathe UX by choice. As Founder and Creative Director of Standard Beagle Studio, a user experience agency based in Austin, Texas, I am living the dream.
At Standard Beagle, I’m privileged to work with B2B SaaS and health tech organizations by providing UX strategy, research and product design. But the UX lifestyle doesn’t end there.
I mentor designers, run the UX in ATX global community of designers, and teach the UX boot camp program through the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin — where I have graduated more than 250 students. I am a contributing author to the book “97 Things Every UX Practitioner Should Know,” published by O’Reilly.
I earned a Masters degree in UX Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. I also completed a design fellowship program through the Johns Hopkins Technology Innovation Center.
My kids and husband say the rumors are not true — I do sleep, and — yes — I spend time with them. Mostly watching Marvel TV shows and movies.
I love standing in front of an audience — no matter the size. I have spoken to large audiences around the country on a variety of Experience Design topics.
Presentations, delivered online or in-person
I have a variety of topics I speak about, from product leadership to UX thought leadership for practitioners.

Designer That Makes a Difference
Cindy believes when UX professionals work together, everyone wins.
Sharing and mentorship are important to me
I give my time weekly to designers in need of coaching, information, and knowledge-sharing, through LinkedIn, UX in ATX, ADPList, and ProductHired.
I write frequently on Experience Design topics on the Standard Beagle blog, Medium, LinkedIn, and other publications.
Managing Stakeholders Through Understanding Human Psychology
Think back to the last time you worked with or had to present to a stakeholder in your work as a product manager? There’s a good chance you walked away feeling confused, bewildered, or even frustrated.
Rethinking User Personas
UX designers are creating elegant user personas that include details irrelevant to the work at hand, reducing their value for teams.
