about Me
I eat, sleep, and breathe UX by choice. As Founder and Creative Director of Standard Beagle Studio, a user experience agency based in Austin, Texas, I am living the dream.

At Standard Beagle, I’m privileged to work with B2B SaaS and health tech organizations by providing UX strategy, research and product design. But the UX lifestyle doesn’t end there.
I mentor designers, run the UX in ATX global community of designers, and teach the UX boot camp program through the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin — where I have graduated more than 250 students. I am a contributing author to the book “97 Things Every UX Practitioner Should Know,” published by O’Reilly.
I earned a Masters degree in UX Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art. I also completed a design fellowship program through the Johns Hopkins Technology Innovation Center.
My kids and husband say the rumors are not true — I do sleep, and — yes — I spend time with them. Mostly watching Marvel TV shows and movies.

I love standing in front of an audience — no matter the size. I have spoken to large audiences around the country on a variety of Experience Design topics.
